How to build test data and lfw_test_pair data for my own dataset?

I am wondering how to build test data and lfw_test_pair data for my own dataset? I have built the train data. Is the form of test data the same as the train data? And how about lfw_test_pair data for my own dataset? Also, I don't know what vaild data mean in config.py. Could anyone help me with the above issues?
