[Bug] Romm automatically scans all folders related to the same platform at the same time
Romm can't scan only games from a single folder related to a platform
In this example if I decide to scan the games in the win-stash folder, Romm will also scan all the games in the win folder and other folders related to the windows platform!
I would like to be able to scan a single folder without Romm triggering unwanted scans of other folders.
The scanner doesn't understand folders, only platforms by slug (in this case win).
This doesn't make any sense. Because Romm offers to select folders to scan, as you can see on the left.
If that wasn't the case, then it would have offered to scan the entire platform instead of offering the folders. I think you don't know how to apply this fix and you preferred to close it.
Because the correct way to do this is to scan only the selected folder. There's no point in rescanning hundreds of additional games for nothing. It's a waste of time and resources.
This will be fixed in the next release, including the dropdown multi-selecting platforms.
