It looks like `forcetypeassert` is not needed: [it's not developed anymore](https://github.com/gostaticanalysis/forcetypeassert/graphs/code-frequency), and the same functionality [is provided](https://github.com/gostaticanalysis/forcetypeassert/issues/15) by `errcheck`.
