There is quite a lot to do to create a UI framework, it would be nice to find people interested in the project.

@arnab15 I don't know if you're still looking for a project to contribute to but I'd be happy to get your help for this project.

Are there chore-like things which a noob can do? I'll find time after mid jan

p00f avatar Dec 29 '20 09:12 p00f

@p00f yeee :D

I'll be filing individual issues for each task that needs to be done, if you're watching the repo you should see them.

For now the only chore-like things I can see would be to find a way to document each individual components, I imagine that there exists some tools to automagically extract propTypes and JSDoc comments where they exist and to format that information in a nice way. From that, we can start creating a documentation website (issue #3).

Alternatively, if you can think of ways to promote or share the repo (eg reddit, that I've done already) in order to attract contributors it would be awesome. Ensuring that everything is ARIA-accessible and up to the level of bootstrap or material-design is quite very time-expensive.

Ye I shared it in gnome IRC the moment I saw it

You should probably enable discussions for general conversations. https://docs.github.com/en/free-pro-team@latest/discussions/quickstart

Sure, it has been activated now.

Hey did you still need help on this project, would love to contribute!

It's not really active and I don't plan to maintain it at the moment :/

I've been interested more in SolidJS so I don't want to maintain a React project. I've also been interested more in headless design systems, as they're somewhat more useful in general. If you want to use and/or take over this project feel free to do so, we can figure out a way to transfer/redirect stuff.
