name is vague

the name of this repo is overly vague. would you be opposed to changing it to something more descriptive?

maybe something like

gtk-web or gtk-dom

then when the package split happens it could be @gtk-dom/css @gtk-dom/react @gtk-dom/solid etc

I don't feel super warm about re-using the gtk name because I don't want people to confuse this with GTK, and even though the -dom or -web gives this away as a web project I still feel it would be too attached to the GTK project. I want this to be a general purpose UI framework and tying it to GTK might give the impression that this is for linux people or something like that. I also want the option to split and evolve away from GTK if needed.

Any other proposition or counter-argument? I'll proceed with publishing packages with the new name today or tomorrow so if you have time let me know by then, otherwise I'll go with:

  • @web-toolkit/react
  • @web-toolkit/theme-adwaita
  • @web-toolkit/solid (future)
