Add min-padding configuration?

Hi, just wanted to ask if it's possible to make min padding configurable? Since currently when there's no enough space padding gets to 0 and IMO it looks a bit cluttered and hard to read:

Would love to configure min-padding to something like 2 😅 Hope it makes sense.
