What's the solution for Windows? Getting the same error on my Windows 7 x64 box.

Building addon is a bit more complicated on windows. Look at this https://github.com/TooTallNate/node-gyp#installation

I will try to add precompiled binaries for next version of node-zopfli.

I have a fresh install of VS Express 2013 and I can install node-gyp just fine using -g, but it always fails when trying to install gulp-zopfli.

made it work on a fresh w7 with VS Express and Python installed.

That's the only solution until i add precompiled libs in https://github.com/pierreinglebert/node-zopfli

pierreinglebert avatar Apr 23 '14 21:04 pierreinglebert

@eggbit : can you try "npm install node-zopfli" ?

( With W7 64bit & nodejs 0.10 )

pierreinglebert avatar Apr 24 '14 19:04 pierreinglebert

@eggbit you should try the new version with a better support for windows.

pierreinglebert avatar Apr 27 '14 21:04 pierreinglebert

Installing fine now with --save-dev, thanks!
