Can not start strem in HA go2rtc in 0.5.6 version

After updating my camera with BFUSY1E38F8JIL191023 to latest h201c I can't start strem in HA go2rtc with no specific error just a simple one that tells can't start with unexpected error. I can start this strem from VLC though. Going back to 0.5.5 version fixes this issue. In 0.5.6 version I did not see go2rtc on list of RTSP server program option

Wow, I'll check the stream with ha. About go2rtc, I removed the option because so many people had "out of memory" problems. You can force the cam to use go2rtc editing system.conf manually. RTSP_ALT=go2rtc

y203c and Frigate - hires stream stops immediately after connected (by go2rtc). Btw - even if I change RTSP server to alternative it returns to standard after camera reboot.

You are right, I forgot to remove it.

Same thing for me. Since upgrading to 0.5.6 the stream won't start in HA oder Frigate. Frigate Logs look something like this:

I'm comparing 0.5.5 and 0.5.6... I don't know where is the difference and why it doesn't work with go2rtc.

same here - home assistant webrtc just is loading forever. Frigate does work when you specify the rtsp url in the ffmpeg path, but go2rtc does not work. Tested with 3 different cameras all of them 4FUSY

I tried 0.5.5 and it actually works. And I tried Frigate with the rtsp url in the ffmpeg path and it works (0.5.6). But 0.5.6 with Frigate doesn't work. There are a lot of changes between 0.5.5 and 0.5.6, so it's not easy to understand where is the difference...

Funny thing is that I also have other camera with yi-hack-Allwinner-v2 0.3.4 installed and there is no problem

I run Go2RTC in a docker container for Octoprint and having the same issue... updating to 0.5.6 and cant get a webrtc stream to work (just shows a black video).

Go2RTC was updated recently https://github.com/AlexxIT/go2rtc/releases/tag/v1.9.11 but I was able ot use v1.9.11 with 0.5.5 just fine, so doubt anything with go2rtc is causing the issue

One weird thing is after updating from 0.5.5 to 0.5.6 I can view the RTSP in videolan without my username and password. Does the update process reset the RTSP username and password?

I compared 0.5.5 and 0.5.6 and probed them with Go2RTC and noticed some difference

First difference is 0.5.5 - nb=AS:500
0.5.6 - nb=AS:700\

I don't understand the the cause of the problem. So, I restored the old algorithm with h264grabber. Please, try these beta (rename tar.gz to tgz): h201c_0.5.6.tar.gz y203c_0.5.6.tar.gz

In case anyone else has an issue flashing these betas ... They are in tar.gz not tgz so the manual method doesnt see them. You have to rename the files to .tgz (instead of .tar.gz) and then manual updating will work

The Beta firmware is working for me with Go2Rtc! Probing the Beta firmware it is reporting AS:500 and "video, sendonly, ALL", "audio, sendonly, ALL", "audio, recvonly, ANY"

To manually flash the firmware on the camera follow the directions here

Note the file must be .tgz ... it cant be .tar.gz eventho they are the same thing, so if you download the fixed 0.5.6 linked above just make sure to rename the file extension to .tgz

Yeah. The stream worked for me on beta for about 1-2 hours. And then camera started bootlooping.
