Unsafe variables in persistent-soft.el

Hi, I get the following error when persistent-soft.el is loaded (dependency through pcache and unicode utils). "The local variables list in persistent-soft.el contains values that may not be safe." (mangle-whitespace t)

Can you please check it out ?
