wiki-nav links always external

This might be beyond the scope of the project, but I wonder if there's a way to set up wiki-nav such that all recognized links will open externally in a given wiki. It feels like customizing the regex variables should work, but there would need to be a way to set the base url. It's dangerously close turning things into a generic wikitext browser, though.
