Device Reset On Restart
I dunno if it supposed to happen, but after each restart my selected audio device defaults back to ASIO4ALL v2. Is there a remedy to this problem?
P.S. Sorry if its a stupid question, I'm not that bright.
The exact same thing happens to me. What exact use-case / setup / hardware are you working with? There may be a commonality between us.
I'm using Light Host to insert VST effects onto my microphone signal, in combination with VoiceMeeter Banana. OS is Windows 10, latest version My audio interface is a FocusRite Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen.
This started happening sometime earlier this year, or last year.. I can remember it was incredibly difficult to figure out exactly which audio interface I needed to select, as I have many, and each one appears a few times due to certain features.
Hopefully this bug gets fixed, but if not, a reinstall might help us both.

I'm having same issue when I restart, my device changes from voicemeter potato insert virtual ASIO to FL Studio ASIO even though I haven't opened fl studio in over a year.
using Windows 11 latest version
