Indeed it does. Note that the software also connects to GitHub.com - for undisclosed reasons.

Please post the source and describe why it needs (or wants) network access. I've blocked it without (so far) noticeable harm.

It's a welcome utility that seems to do what's advertised. But if it can't be audited, it can't stay on my platforms.
