Has facebook reliably fixed the issue where backups don't include all chat messages?

The last few times that I have downloaded my facebook data, my message histories only go back a few months, not the year or so in these charts. Is this something I can work around or has facebook fixed it?

That is strange, I just downloaded my data a few days ago and everything was there from years back. Are you sure you adjusted the START_DATE and END_DATE parameters in userinfo.py?
