Nvidia Shield doens't show pup-up,

Hi everyone!

I have a Nvidia shield TV and am trying to send notifications via my Homey controller using this app. After installing the App on my tv and homey, I tried to send a plain text notification. this however didn't work. After looking at some of the issues listed on here i tried to send the ADB command. I connected to the TV and sent the command .\adb shell appops set nl.rogro82.pipup SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW allow As read somewhere I didn't get any feedback from the command prompt, however after restarting the TV I still can't get any popups on the shield. does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Had the same issue, also with Shield if it matters. It is a permissions issue. Fixed by goto to menu, find Apps / Special App Access / Display over other apps, then find PIPup and change it to "Allowed". Worked after that.
