Are the latest fixes pushed to the play store?

I ran into an issue with my MiBox S where I'm seeing a cleartext related issue, which was fixed here:

I'm running the version from the play store on my box. Is this fixed pushed up to the play store? Should I sideload an apk? Thank You!
