Wishlist for API/mqtt

Because there are maybe some plans for a api, i think i could not be wrong to create a list where possible api-commands/controls should be added.

Just for beginning:

• toggle recording on/off
• trigger recording (would be useful by simple http-get, so many cameras' internal motion detection could be used to trigger recoring

Thanks! There is an api already actually but it is undocumented.

The endpoints you suggest however are not available, will make sure to add them in the future

+1 for enabling recording start/stop via mqtt. That would even allow for an external control loop that subscribes to e. g. object_detected_person combines it with external information (e. g. the time of day or the presence status of the home owners) and triggers recording.
