Special kinds of talks

One distinguished kind of talk that's fairly common is a PhD defense. If there are enough special kinds of talks we might want to figure out how to distinguish them in lists and/or search for them.

There are also events like lecture series (e.g. three or four lectures over a series of a few days by a distinguished speaker) that are not really seminars or conferences.
