I follow how it works on Windows, you have a storage manager in the tray. I'm open for discussion regarding how this "should" work. Auto mount is not enough?

Auto mounting does not require qtfm (the storage manager code from qtfm is already included in draco).

"Auto mount removable devices" in general settings?
