hey @ste00martin i have plans to reimplement this from scratch and when it's done it will be much faster than other options available out there, sponsoring at any amount will definitely help to speed up the process :), in the mean time you should know that's also some options created by the community that's highlighted in vision camera documentation https://react-native-vision-camera.com/docs/guides/frame-processor-plugins-community

just to clarify the first comment, i don't have plans to implement it for v3, only v4 and upcoming versions
