I am planning to switch to OLED displays and I was wondering if there is away to access the Notifications for it to be displayed? Primarily I would want to know whether I have Teams or E-mail messages waiting.
Describe the solution you'd like
It could be a simple black screen and have an animated ticker to show the notification messages. It can be totally black if there are no notifications.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Writing it myself somehow but not sure how to access notifications

Yeah that would be the start at least we can confirm there's access to that API. The next bit is to show the notification as a separate layer on top of existing wallpapers on screensaver mode primarily.
It could be simple like show moving block of text vertically. Or crazy like horizontal and vertical movement of notifications flying through the screen. Which would be hella annoying to read but will get me to deactivate the screen saver to see WTF is going on.
