Harfbuzz version too old

When starting AppImage, Deb-Package install or tarball build on Linux Mint 20 (Ubuntu 20.04) from command line an error like this is reported

./akiee 
Start descjop application on Linux.

(akiee:13953): Pango-ERROR **: 02:47:31.233: Harfbuzz version too old (1.3.1)

Could you please provide new builds for current versions of Pango / Ubuntu?

Also I am wondering what the purpose of an AppImage is, that relies on system libraries ... I would like to learn something new, so you surely could enlighten me. Thanks.

Thanks for reporting. I will look into it.

If I understand Appimages correctly, they rely on a typical environment. At the time of writing I was Ubuntu 16.04.
