Variable source in information popup should be link when possible

Variables have source defined in information popup. This source should be a link to the location when applicable.
When the source is a link, the current absolute paths to e.g. resource files can be changed to basenames.

High defect ( issue 1043 ) found which means that we will do the release a bit sooner. Moving this issue to future.

As you can see the source in the popup, this is just a convenience functionality. The link with some behaviour could be a risky move (GUI code to the popup) at this point.
