I think this is something we should address at the platform level, rather than ad-hoc

I think the consensus is to close this issue then, and direct users to use one of the existing post-processing tools available in HA. Will leave for timebeing incase anyone...

They do have a `unique_id`, see [here](https://github.com/robmarkcole/Hue-sensors-HASS/blob/33618546136eb390aa081ae102bf0ce10b12008b/custom_components/sensor/hue.py#L38), but its not exposed as an attribute
