AutoZotBib crashes Firefox 38.0.5 / Zotero 4.0.26.4

I'm using Firefox 38.0.5 with Zotero Plugin 4.0.64.4. Everytime I open Firefox with the AutoZotBib plugin activated (v0.5.1) the browser freezes & crashes ultimately. I'm not using any other Zotero plugins. I was able to replicate this behavior both on a Windows 7 & Windows 8 machine, with completely different Firefox Plugins (one machine had basically only Adblock Plus running).

Can anyone else replicate this error and is there a way to fix this?
