What exactly should I set when trying to connect to the server?

Hi all. I'm new to NTLM and therefore tell me what exactly should I transfer at each stage of connecting to the server?

My situation is this: there is the server that returns a certain text (JSON). When I try to enter URL of this server through a Google Chrome, Google Chrome gives me a window to enter my username and password. I enter my domain login and password there, and the server eventually accepts them in some way, after giving me JSON. It works fine. What are target_name, host_name and https://my-exchange-url.com in my server url https://xxx.xxx/blah_blah?param_1=123&param2=456?

I also tried to specify the mail server address taken from the Outlook settings as https://my-exchange-url.com, I received the following response with 401 code:
