can the scrubbing change from line to a button ?

Can the scrubbing be made into a button instead of a vertical line? I want to be able to get the values as the user touches the graph( not drag on the graph) and keep that value displayed.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but you should be able to use a ScrubListener to build whatever UI you want around or even ontop of the SparkView.
