Cal fields truncated at 23 characters?

Hi,

Thanks for the great apps. I was making an adaptation of SmartStatus (focusing more on the calendar) and it seems that iOS SmartWatch+ app is truncating the date and the name of the events to 23 characters.

Verified with Pebble SmartWatch+ app as well.

Hi Michael,

That’s correct. I did this for reasons of battery savings and performance. I guess I can include a few more characters in the upcoming update.

Thanks Robert,

I think about 40 characters for each of the items would be good enough. It would allow full two lines of text to go onto the screen.

When would you expect next version of iOS app to be released?

40 sounds good. I’m aiming for a release date before the Pebble app store release.
