Using alt as the modifier for Block manipulation does not suppress characters

I overrode the settings for "Copy block reference" to alt+c. While it works in the sense that it does correctly copy the reference to the clipboard, it does not suppress/swallow the resulting characters from pressing alt: i.e. along with the copy side-effect, it also types "ç" onto the block.

I assume you're running on Mac? There is a bunch of weirdness around using alt as a modifier on Mac =. The underlying library we use does not seem to handle that well..

That's correct, I'm running on Mac. Ah, I see. Would you recommend avoiding alt for the foreseeable future, or do you anticipate that this is something that can be fixed soonish?

I'd recommend avoiding the alt for shortcuts in "edit mode" for now (should be fine for navigation shortcuts when you're outside of the block). I want to look at fixing this at some point (changes in #63 would potentially help with that) but not sure when

Sounds good, thank you. Looking forward to #63 (independent of this issue).
