Feature Request - JS Configuration

Salvattore is a wonderful plugin. Only problem is that its not very flexible to all use case scenarios because its CSS based configuration.

I have a project with a standard grid. There is a button that will add controls to the right of it eventually reducing the available width.

If it was js configurable we could control the number of columns. But since its CSS I can't think of a way or is there a way actually?
