Compatibility issue with the Rangoli software and the Royal Kludge RK84 keyboard

Purpose

I am reaching out to report a compatibility issue with the Rangoli software and the Royal Kludge RK84 keyboard. Despite the RK84 being a widely used model, it seems to be not recognized by the software, either in wired or wireless mode.

Issue Description

Whenever I try to use Rangoli with my RK84, the software does not recognize the keyboard and keeps asking me to connect a Royal Kludge keyboard. This occurs irrespective of the connection mode I use.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Connect RK84 via USB or Bluetooth.
2. Launch Rangoli.
3. Observe the software prompting to connect a Royal Kludge keyboard.

Expected Behavior

The software should detect the RK84 keyboard and allow me to use its features such as custom key mapping and RGB controls.

Actual Behavior

The software fails to detect the RK84 keyboard and does not advance beyond the initial connection prompt.

• Connection Type: Tried both USB and Bluetooth
