Only search in one category

Is it possible to search only within a single category or set of categories, without including the whole category dropdown?

+1 Getting option to preselect single category and let users to choose only tags will be great!

Example: we have multiple category on the blog (IT stuff, Trips, Music...) . Let's create single page describing our love to music. I want to attach on this specific website option to select multiple tags (for example: rock, blues) and display all posts from category Music with selected tags.

I was hoping that maybe 2 years after the first posts, the issue could have been resolved :) ...

I do need to create single category research or set of categories research. Is the plugin providing this today in the Pro version ? Because I would buy it for sure in that case.
