Error: mdb_env_open: Function not implemented

Hello,

I created de novo repeat library as suggested from this link https://www.biostars.org/p/411101/ and finally got (myrepeatlib.fa). When I try to use this library in RepeatMasker (v 4.0.9), I got the following error. Could someone help me to fix this issue?

I think we have seen this error (mdb_env_open: Function not implemented) before: https://github.com/rmhubley/RepeatMasker/issues/122#issuecomment-886909936. I thought it could be related to the filesystem not supporting file locking or another operation, but we were not able to confirm it for certain.

Do you know what type of filesystem /home/zwl is on? (You could find this information via the findmnt command, for example). Do you have access to a different filesystem to try, especially switching between a same-machine vs a network filesystem?

Hi @Zinwinlatt Were you able to solve this issue.? I am also facing it while creating a custom local db for a bird genome. and @jebrosen I am running NCBI Blast+ 2.11.0 and 2.12.0 version on CentOS 7 and lustre file system.

Would appreciate the help to solve this issue. Thank you.
