Weird behaviour when Spotify is not running before starting spotify-remote

I've had a couple of issues when starting spotify-remote without Spotify running in the background. Normally it just prints errors messages to STDOUT (but gives no indication in the webinterface — would be a cool feature), but sometimes I started Spotify after spotify-remote and suddenly I had 2 instances of Spotify. Had to force quit one of them.
