Note that I randomly stumbled upon this generator and did not use it, I was actually searching for "shields" like this: https://github.com/badges/shields.

But I saw that the generated banner has a transparent background and thus does not work on GitHub in dark mode. Maybe that's an improvement you can add somehow.
