Have you tried using Hackintool to map your USB ports? I did that with my build and it fixed so much stuff for me.

@jbwharris Hello my friend! Sorry that my repo spammed you. I did check out your build and I deleted HS07 in USBPorts.kext. Now the error is gone!

No worries, just saw you were working on USB and thought I'd offer that up. I guess having that info in my repo is handy, can't say I recall seeing anyone else who had put it there.

@jbwharris How is your hack doing? I remember we discussed about the GPU indicator. After waking up from sleep, it turns into red. I read your README file and it seems happen to your laptop also. There is something I discovered: Before going into sleep, on https://www.speedtest.net, the ping is 4ms and internet speed is 100 Mbps. But after waking up, the download speed is capped at 40 Mbps and the ping is always 100ms. Would you like to check on yours to help me verify?

I just ran the tests and found no major difference in speed before and after. My ping was never great, but stable around 20ms. My build has a few idiosyncrasies, but it's pretty stable now. Haven't done the 10.14.4 update yet.

Thank you so much! I finally got the answer: I enabled "wake for network access" in Settings -> Energy Saver. Disabling that option solved my problem!

@jbwharris Oh really? Which idiosyncrasies does it have? I often open Console.app and check for errors. Right now even my MacBook Pro produces more errors than my Hackintosh hehe

I have one where the increase brightness on the keyboard doesn't work, whereas it used to. And Booting up with the 2 monitors connected can result in the laptop screen not showing up.

I'll have to check that wake for network access whether it's turned on or not.

Was it turned on?

I don't currently have it turned on. Now I'll have to see if I get the same behaviour with it on or not.
