Please Fix or Depreciate and Delist this Plugin
Hi,
I appreciate the work you've put in here, but having this plugin which--as far as I can tell--is entirely non-functional continue to exist on the NPM repository is extremely frustrating and misleading. If it is going to continue being non-functional you should remove it so people don't download it think they are getting a working Markdown It plugin. Or you could fix it, which would be great! But in either case, it would be good to get some resolution on the state of this plugin.
Thanks!
@AramZS What are you talking about? This plugin works like a charm, I already made another plugins using it: https://github.com/iMrDJAi/markdown-it-reddit-spoiler https://github.com/iMrDJAi/markdown-it-reddit-supsubscript
I think you might be looking for that one: https://github.com/tylingsoft/markdown-it-regex I tested it, it doesn't work, but this one is fully functional.
The last day of release being "8 years ago" should probably tell people as much about state of this project as a deprecation warning would.
I'm happy to find that there are multiple forks going that you can use instead:
- https://github.com/rlidwka/markdown-it-regexp/forks
With this one probably being more advanced one:
I can fix very minor issues if you find any, but I don't have time to add any new features. So it might be best if I transfer this repo (and npm package) to someone else.
@GerHobbelt, if you are interested in continuing this project, I can add you to this repo and npm, or transfer those. This repository is a bit more discoverable than your fork, so you'd have more users.
Or I can archive this repository and give a link to actively maintained forks.
