Different timestep than 60 minute not tested

Open smartie2076 opened this issue 6 years ago • 4 comments

Oemof here only used for 60-minute intervals. Test if code works with eg. 15minute interval

  • [ ] Create demand and renewable timeseries with 15 minute timestep
  • [ ] run simulation - works? . [ ] if necessary: enable mvs/pandas to actually understand new input of "15mins"
  • [ ] if necessary: edit other preprocessing code
  • [ ] if necessary: edit postprocessing (eg. sum(demand profile) now != total demand as pwer relative to 15 minutes, not an hour

This sounds like a "nice to have" to me, as usually 60 min are used for energy system simulations. But if you wanna tackle this you could assign somebody (or issue auction) @smartie2076

It is actually a direct wish from our end-users to have 15-minute intervals. It is, though, an additional requirement not mentioned in the DOA, so we can push this somewhere to the end...?

I opened a new project for issues with lower priority than "issues" but higher prio than "nice to have"

Good idea.
