DATIS not working with DCS-SRS 2.2.x
The DCS-SRS BETA release version 2.2.0.0 was published on 2025-05-25. When using DCS-SRS Server 2.2.x (including versions with available hotfixes), DATIS stops functioning correctly.
I have both version 2.1.1.0 and 2.2.0.2 installed on my DCS server. DATIS works as expected with 2.1.1.0, but fails to function with 2.2.0.2.
The ATIS "clients" appear to connect successfully to SRS — they show up in the client list — but they do not broadcast any audio.
One possible cause might be that DCS-SR-ExternalAudio.exe has been moved in 2.2.x and is now located in a subfolder called ExternalAudio, rather than in the root of the SRS installation directory as in previous versions.
@Ticker918 Thanks for the report. DATIS talks to SRS directly and is not using DCS-SR-ExternalAudio.exe. My guess would be, that due to the big rework, the format of some of the messages passed between the SRS server and a client changed. I am on a DCS sabbatical right now, so don't know when I'll look into it; i.e. it might take a while until I'll look into it (sorry).
I just updated today to the SRS release Version 2.2.0.4 and also have the same problem. But I get it rkusa, you deserve a break for as long as you want after all your hard work on DATIS, not to mention that general DCS fatigue that happens to a lot of us. Either way, I hope someday you're able to take a look at it, I know a lot of people (me included) that appreciate how good your DATIS is.

SRS previously let you have a null radio info, so I should still let you really as it'll probably break for others I don't know about
