Sorry that was not the solution. steps to recreate the issue 1.` while true; do ls;done` press ctrl+c after sometime 2. clear do clear twice and scroll up.

Does this behavior have to do anything with zsh clear command? because I have expected behavior (scroll terminal) with ctrl+l key combo.
