Renders blank "Index of /" page

After installation on Mac OS 10.11.6, when loading 127.0.0.1:8080 I get a blank index page "Index of /".

In the VM the folder /vagrant has Magento's files. Am I missing something?

I learnt this is related with #38, the links in the bootstrap.sh file to download the Magento and data files are no longer valid. I tried updating it to make it work but in the end I relied on another project that does the deed:
