notepad3.exe in Notepad3_6.24.1221.1_x86_Portable.zip not work correctly

Reproduce:

  1. download and extract Notepad3_6.24.1221.1_x86_Portable.zip
  2. run notepad3.exe
  3. input
1
2
3

Now it will stick to line 3 and user cannot select line 1 or line 2 using keyboard or mouse.

Hello @jack6th , I can not reproduce your issue.

Are you sure that Read Only File Attribute or Lock File (Read-Shared) or Document Read Only is not checked ? 🤔

I am sure these options are not checked. Notepad3 (x86) 6.24.309.1 rc3 works correctly. My OS is Windows 7 SP1 32bit.

Hello @RaiKoHoff , I was able to reproduce it with all Notepad3 x86 versions (portable, setup and paf) But the bug appears only on Win_7 (x86 or x64) AND with Notepad3 x86 I will try to find when the bug is started ?  🤔

[.825.1]- Scintilla Libray v5.5.2
[.825.1]- Move caret line outline frame translucency to alpha2.
[.825.1]- Zoom dependent caret outline frame thickness, zoom dependent visible whitespace size.
