Is it possible to disable Apache conf lexer in Notepad3?

I am in this trouble too in Win10 and notepad3 version (x64) v5.21.905.1 open .conf file can cause CPU load up to 100%.

Short workaround: move the corresponding (associated) file extension (".conf") from Apache Lexer to another Lexer.

Feel free to test the "BETA/RC PortableApps", version "Notepad3Portable_5.21.1117.1_rc.paf" or newer, see 1st list in issue #1129.

• Notepad3Portable_5.21.1117.1_rc.paf.exe.7z -s

"Notepad3Portable BETA/RC PortableApps" version can be used with or without ".7z" extension.

Also, feel free to test the "BETA/RC Setup", version "Notepad3_5.21.1117.1_rc_Setup" or newer, see the 2nd list in issue #1129.

Thank you so much, I'll try it later and report the result.

And I found the issue above #3796 mentioned the locale is zh-CN, it's the same for me, it might be the problem for us who are using the zh-CN ANSI (CP-936) locale.
