"Clean Up" Messed Up My Path

Sorry for the lack of details but, having just used the "Clean Up" feature, my path now looks like this:

It looks like some paths seem to have been concatenated together and others seem to have been split (presumably on space boundaries).

C:\Users\Simon\scoop\shims;C:\Users\Simon\.cargo\bin;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Windows Live;C:\Program Files (x86)\GNU\GnuPG;C:\Users\Simon\Desktop\Programs;C:\Users\Simon\AppData\Roaming\npm;C:\Users\Simon\Desktop\Programs\emacs;C:\Users\Simon\Desktop\Programs;C:\Program Files\Heroku\bin;C:\Program Files\Microsoft VS Code\bin;C:\Users\Simon\AppData\Roaming\Composer\vendor\bin;C:\Users\Simon\Desktop\Programs\SysinternalsSuite

C:\ProgramData\Oracle\Java\javapath;C:\Program Files (x86)\AMD APP\bin\x86_64;C:\Windows\System32;C:\Program Files (x86)\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\Core-Static;C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Windows Performance Toolkit\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\;C:\Miniconda2;C:\Miniconda2\Scripts;C:\Miniconda2\Library\bin;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Windows Live;C:\Program Files (x86)\GNU\GnuPG;C:\adb;C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\PhysX\Common;C:\Program Files (x86)\GNU\GnuPG\pub;%systemroot%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;C:\Program Files\FileBot\;C:\Program Files\nodejs\;C:\Program Files\Git\cmd;C:\xampp\php;C:\ProgramData\ComposerSetup\bin;C:\Program Files (x86)\PuTTY\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Calibre2 \user C\Users\Simon\scoop\shims;C:\Users\Simon\.cargo\bin;C:\Users\Simon\Desktop\Programs;C:\Users\Simon\AppData\Roaming\npm;C:\Users\Simon\Desktop\Programs\emacs;C:\Program

Unfortunately it wasn't until after I hit save that my path got screwed up so there's no chance of getting my previous one back to try and reproduce the problem.
