[BUG]Deckboard no longer works - Android Client to PC Server

Open leninkster opened this issue 3 years ago • 1 comments

Deckboard Pro has been working fine, albeit slowly, over WiFi between the Android client (on Samsung Tab 12.1) to Windows 10 server. After the latest release to the server, the client connects to the server, but the deck board doesn't work. (Doesn't switch decks, doesn't operate macros). On the Deckboard server, the IP address is correct, port 8500 is open (in both directions) on the PC firewall and both devices can see each other (ping).

Tried on Samsung S10+ also, to check for potential Android OS issues. Same result.

To Reproduce

  1. Load Deckboard Server on PC
  2. Check "Connected addresses" on the server
  3. Load Deckboard Pro Client on Android
  4. Scan Code (this enters the IP address of the server in the client)
  5. Click Connect via WLAN
  6. First Deck loads on client
  7. Change board on the client - nothing happens on the server
  8. Check device connections on the server - no connections found - scan device results in nothing.
  9. Close deckboard server down on PC
  10. Deckboard client returns Uh-Oh! Screen

Expected behaviour Upon connection, the client should alter the state of the server screen to match that of the selected client screen. The connected devices on the server should show the connected client.

Server App (please complete the following information): Windows 10 Deckboard Server 2.0.1

Client App (please complete the following information): Deckboard Pro Client 1.9.981 Android 5.0.2 (Samsung Tab 12.1) Android
