Live server not working

In my device live server is not opening i am trying but still its is not working. when i type my code and press my right click and then click on live server . after clicking on live server in down side with cross symbol "open file in folder or workspace" this is showing please what i do i am a new user of vscode.

I have the same problem . I don't know why ??? I really need a solution .

for those that are having this issue, it seems to be a limitation of live server. Live server requires a folder to launch, so have your HTML in a folder, then drag that folder into VS Code, or from the menu (File->Open Folder) https://github.com/ritwickdey/vscode-live-server/issues/248

previously live server is working fine but now it's not working i should have to open with live server every time

for those that are having this issue, it seems to be a limitation of live server. Live server requires a folder to launch, so have your HTML in a folder, then drag that folder into VS Code, or from the menu (File->Open Folder) #248 I am also facing the same problem LIVE SERVER is not opening. you have given some information regarding this issue but i did not understand it clearly , please can you tell me in detail how to solve this issue
