I think that the present git space has so many functionalities. You may post issues and discussions here, and anyone with a worthy point of view may comment on the post. More importantly, the history of discussions will remain in hand for further usage of the developers, user, and readers. Maybe someone with a similar issue find a solution and post it for the attention of the community. Therefore, having such private discussions in git space make no sense indeed.
