Replaced the deprecated function and defined a type for Store interface

hello there I want to request a fix for the current version of your program, I used java 21 if does affect anything.

basicly I had to change a function which was deprecated and the Store interface on the line 168, you can check if that change is correct. so since I had already fixed, I decided to pull the fix
