I think this has merit, would like to see it added.

I don't really have time to hack on this, but would be happy to merge any pull requests that might bring these features

We do not currently have an equivelant, but want to add something to allow inactive streams to auto delete

should be pretty simple, though not sure I'll have time to get to it anytime soon :(
