Improved Text Formatting Support

Text formatting is currently limited to markdown. This works for basic formatting, but markdown itself isn't particularly capable - even fundamental things like colors are missing.

The proposal is to extend markdown with something similar to bbcode tags. For example, one could type Hello, [color=#abcabc]World[/]! in the code to add colors.
