Background

This package contains legacy code that's difficult to modernize using the latest Laravel features, and it reached a point were we are unable to optimize its performance. Unfortunately it consumes a lot of queries, and it is not efficient when scaling or being used in large applications.

Efforts

We tried in the past to refactor this package multiple times, but couldn't get it to the finish line due to its complexity. You can check out the latest refactor attempt on this branch https://github.com/rinvex/laravel-attributes/tree/refactor-to-native-laravel-relationships

Decision

We are no longer using this package in our projects, and we don't have the bandwidth to keep maintaining it anymore. ⚠️ This package is now abandoned and no longer maintained. No replacement package was suggested. ⚠️
